Sam Bobinski

Sam Bobinski plays bass. Big ol’ double bass boys, electric basses, you name it. He’s also an arranger and a music educator. He’s ready to add some thump to whatever you throw at him, whether it’s classical, jazz, rock, or funk. While Sam is an accomplished orchestral and chamber musician, he is best known for recording from his home studio for soundtracks. He’s played for short films and indie film, but he’s best known for video game music. Sam can be heard on the scores for Mortal Kombat 11, Ambition: A Minuet in Power, Anew: The Distant Light, and on the sound library “Advanced Propulsion” by Penguin Grenade. Sam has arranged for orchestra, jazz band, solo performers, and chamber groups, including Symphony By The Sea, the North Country Chamber Players, L’Orchestre Jeux Video, and the Greater Bridgeport Symphony. Sam has also contributed to several licensed fan albums, as an arranger, performer, and producer. Sam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Rutgers University and a Master’s in Music from Yale. Sources within the band report that he is a good kisser.
